Ane Fiskum Sunde

Ane Fiskum Sunde (1991) is a Norwegian flutist based in Trondheim, Norway.

She has a bachelor's degree in classical music performance from University in Agder where she studied with professor Jørn Schau. After studying in Kristiansand she moved to Trondheim where she completed her master’s degree in classical music performance at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with Trine Knutsen. In 2023 she finished a second master’s degree in classical music performance from UiA with professor Jørn Schau.

She has a reflective approach to her instrument and her collaborations, and is a mature musician with a personal musical expression. Her versatility as a musician includes solo performances, orchestral works, chamber music and session work. She remains deeply passionate about exploring new musical horizons and collaborating with other artists.

Ane now freelances as a soloist and chamber musician, and has played with Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, The Norwegian Air Force Band, Arctic Philharmonic and SiTron (Trondheim Sinfonietta), and had an internship in Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. Other ensembles and projects include Duo Aia (with Ingrid Lyslo), The St. Olav drama orchestra, Quartet Flamborée, Poltergeist Quintet, Bird Phoenix (w/Ella Fiskum, Else Bø, Justin Chirico, Kristine Moe) and The Norwegian Flute Ensemble.
